My Story
Welcome to my Scentsy website! My name is Cindy, and I'm here to help you make your home smell and look beautiful and/or to find that special gift for a loved one. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and why I am a Scentsy Consultant.
I have been married for almost 24 years and am the proud mother of two. My oldest is a sophomore in college and is planning a career in Social Work. My youngest is a senior in high school and at the age of 3 years old, he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It has been a wild 15 year journey for our family, but we are finding our way through the system and trying to help our son be the best and as independent as possible.
This is a BIG part of my reason for becoming a Scentsy Consultant. After graduating from college with a BBA, I worked over 25 years in the Corporate world (14 years full time and 14 years part time - after the kids were born - for the same company). Even though I was working part time, it became harder and harder to make my home schedule work with the office schedule, until it was mutually decided that it was time for me to "retire". I needed to be more available at home for my kids - and especially my son. After a couple years of being "retired", I needed something to do and we needed some extra money to help our daughter attend college without graduating with too much debt. After much prodding from a friend I have known for YEARS, I decided to give Scentsy a try, and here I am - Buiding my own business!
While my main focus if helping you find the items that you want for your home, office, and as gifts, I can also help you become your own boss and build YOUR own business, around YOUR schedule. I am building my team, and I would love to have you join me on this part of my journey!
